A new partner backing SYSPRO's growth
|

SYSPRO welcomed Advent International as its majority shareholder in 2024, and the investment has been going into the product ever since. For you, that means fresh capital and momentum behind the roadmap you already rely on, not a change to the system sitting on your floor today.
You may also have noticed SYSPRO's new look this year: “Smarter. Faster. Built for Your Industry.” That's their brand refresh. Your deployment, your data, and the SYSPRO your team knows are exactly where you left them. We'll keep watching this closely on your behalf, as we always do.

The move to subscription: what it means for your renewal
|
|
|
The one change genuinely worth your attention: SYSPRO is retiring the Initial Licence Fee and Annual Licence Fee model most of our clients have run on for years, in favour of a single named-user subscription.
Nothing changes before your own renewal date. Your current licence stays valid and fully in force until then, and the switch happens per account, not on one fixed date for everyone. Your deployment, configuration, integrations and data are unaffected — and if you're on-premise today, this change isn't forcing you to the Cloud.

Full module entitlement — SYSPRO's complete set of active modules, not just the ones on your current licence.

Support built into the price — no separate support line item to track and renew.

SYSPRO's AI toolkit — the Sidekick in-workflow assistant, ML Studio, and document and transaction automation, included rather than licensed separately.

Worth checking before you compare numbers
The old model was priced per concurrent user — seats shared across a team that doesn't all log in at once. Subscription is named user: a licence per individual person with access. If your team has a lot of occasional SYSPRO users alongside a smaller core of daily ones, it's worth auditing your actual named-user count before assuming this is a like-for-like swap. It might not be.
